The plain indigo yardage was brought to life with the traditional hand block printed ajrakh yoke. The ajrakh was appliquéd onto the indigo in the shape of a “U” with hand embroidery and cut away. This process gave the yoke a different finish. Studded with mirrors around the neck and thick kutch embroidery in burnt orange and yellow transformed this simple indigo into the most unusual combination for a blouse. A black linen for the base . We cut that yoke in a pot shape and gave the back a different look with an unusually grey and white bandhini fused into the mutka cut.. A small keyhole cut at the back and thick threads in light blue for a kutchi border embroidered along the yoke to define the shape. A closed neck in front with blue embroidery around it.
